What is the underlying law of nature?
Be among the first to identify, understand and apply its answer. Why?
1. It is the way of all things. (observable)
2. It is the basis and absolute reference frame of the principles of thought, intelligence, communication and logic.
3. It made possible the formulation of these four principles.
4. Conscious use of these principles permit efficacy and efficiency to multiply in business and life.

With regard to laying awake worrying… – Fortunately, the US military is doing it for you. The Pentagon has funded a lot of research on AGW: because they know that its effects will have military consequences.
With the information I am presented, I’m quite comfortable to wait it out. How about you?
That doesn’t make the IPCC conclusions any more scientifically sound, just the potential for much much better funding.

And you’re right, I’ll concede that we the sheeple did elect someone who told us and demonstrated to us where he was coming from.
What I got it common sense enough not to rely on IPCC. I’ve already seen more than one of their flaws. It doesn’t take a genius to pick up on them.
They’re not “my” facts. they’re the facts and conclusions of some of the most renowned and prestigious organizations in the world. …and you got?
As far as the “American people” go, they just elected a President that is fully on board with the IPCC’s conclusions.
What would they be given funding for? It’s just as absurd as the rest of these theories. 10 minutes into this video, all I hear is ideology…da da da…..I don’t need to ask further where this is going.
You’re presuming that the burden of proof lies with those discrediting AGW. There would be no great payday. The American people are not accepting of your “facts”.
Irregardless of your “skepticism”; the fact is, if any scientist could prove that anthropogenic (man-made) global warming wasn’t valid he/she would proclaimed a hero and be given more funding than he knew what to do with.
To this point, no one has been able to make the case.
Boo hoo, cry me a river. I’m happy enough to keep my slightly elevated level of skepticism to get me through the day. I’ve seen enough highly respected people caught with their hands in the cookie jar and not only….
And you apparently don’t understand that many people (including scientists) are motivated by things other than money. – How sad for you.
I’ll lay awake at night worrying about something I know to be real…..hair trigger nukes that can fry us all or even hundreds of thousands at a time……and who has their fingers on these triggers. Beyond that, your religiosity and blind faith in Global warming is more boggling to me than the mormonism I was raised in.

Actually, I very much do understand, and from first hand experience.
Many scientists who work for these institutions could easily get jobs in the private sector.
I don’t think you understand what it takes to become a scientist and dedicate your life to science.
You need to go to college and excel at it. Then you need to go 5-7 yr more in a PhD program where you get paid less than someone working at McDonalds and you’ll be done by the time you’re 28-30 yrs old.
Then you must prove yourself against the smartest people (others like u) for the rest of ur life.

Furthermore, to falsify data is the kiss of death to research scientists. They exist as a function of their credibility. It’s not something they would endanger lightly. – You would do well to know more about the scientific community before projecting your aspersions upon them.
If you think scientist (as a group) are motivated by money, then you clearly don’t understand the scientific mind. You have that prerogative.
The scientists I have had the pleasure of knowing are motivated largely by the desire to have a favorable impact on the human condition. – However, at this point, it doesn’t surprise me that that’s a motivation your are incapable of understanding.
I agree. That explains how every single one of those institutions is incorrect, because there are many there whom have spent a lifetime making a living supporting themselves studying this, and they cannot bear to admit they are wrong. The one’s with the most money have the most to lose in this. The rest of us refuse to pay a tax to support their arrogant positions. We demand they do the science, and stop promulgating a myth.
It was decided long ago at the “Club of Rome” they would do this.
